Ottawa-Carleton District School Board
Ottawa Keynote to Science Teachers
Franke James gave the keynote speech in February, 2010 to 250 high school science teachers from the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board and teacher candidates from the University of Ottawa and Queen’s University.
“Franke James is a passionate environmental advocate who has the gift of allowing others to see through her eyes. Her inspiring stories help all of us realize that we also can do something. Her positive attitude is infectious and draws others to join her in taking on the challenge of climate change. An artist and a natural teacher, Franke will shock you out of complacency and make you realize that you can do something right now!” Bogna Haddad, OCDSB/OSSTF Science Subject Council Co-Chair 2010
