My Life in Shoes

DRESS SHOES
I described to her a pair of wonderful high-heeled shoes made of delicate petals, except the petals were actually made of leather and were white not green.
I told her I wore them only once, but I loved them so much I wanted to exhibit them as sculpture. They were the shoes I imagined I was married in, though in truth I wore a simple pair of white sandals which I threw out long ago.
I showed my daughter these shoes and she was as captivated as I was. One day I will give them to her. They were made by a French designer Maud Frizon.
I BOUGHT STACKS AND STACKS OF HER SHOES THEY WERE SO BEAUTIFUL.

RUNNING SHOES

TRIATHLON BIKE SHOES
I raced from the lake tearing off my wetsuit, and grabbing my tri shoes.
No time to change, I jumped on the bike, clipped on my helmet and was off — still wearing my swimsuit — racing forward.
Action conquers fear. My adrenaline was pumping as I reminded myself it was really just a nice opportunity for an outdoor workout with lots of people around.
